OUR THERAPIES

Hydrotherapy utilizes an underwater treadmill with warm water. The benefits of water bouyancy allows a painful animal to perform low-impact exercises.

What does hydrotherapy do?

  • eases mobility
  • increases strength
  • decreases pain
  • reduces inflammation
  • improves flexibility

Manual therapy applies the knowledge and techniques from human physical therapy. Using our hands we can palpate and treat the muscles and joints.

What do we do?

  • massage
  • passage range of motion
  • stretching
  • flexing and extending the joints

Floor exercises include:

  • cavaletti poles

  • and many other creative ideas we come up with

Laser Therapy is a deep penetrating light laser used along areas that are painful or where a recent surgery has taken place.

How can laser help my animal?

  • heal skin wounds - e.g. lick granulomas and hot spots
  • hasten recovery from orthopedic and neurologic surgery
  • reduce pain and inflammation
  • heal tendonitis

Chiropractics:

Gentle movement of vertebrae and other bones can help properly align the body. This is a pain free experience. Many animals with chronic injuries have compensated by using their bodies in a way that is not normal, they can benefit greatly from having their body realigned.
