Physical Rehabilitation

Chiropractic treatments realign the spine and joints, decreasing pain and improving mobility.

Massage can help decrease muscle spasm, increase circulation, and reduce inflammation and pain. Massage can make acupuncture and chiropractic treatments more effective.

Nutritional supplements help the body heal from within and minimize the adverse effects of drug and vaccine overuse.

Antibody blood tests for vaccines help evaluate whether your pet needs another vaccine this year. (Distemper or Parvovirus for dogs and Feline viral rhinotracheitis and Panleukopenia for cats).  Rabies vaccines are mandated by law.

Anesthesia-free teeth cleaning
has incredible results without the adverse effects of anesthetics. Using a relaxing and gentle technique, the teeth are scaled and polished with professional dental instruments. The treatment is recommended for dogs and cats of all ages. This technique is especially beneficial for young animals to prevent tartar build up, geriatric animals with organ dysfunction, and animals with heart disorders who cannot tolerate anesthesia. All pets are required to have a full physical examination before with Dr. Annette Richmond.  In extreme cases of poor oral health or tooth fractures, we will refer to another veterinarian for an anesthetic dental procedure.
